Vacation Bible School is an opportunity for Christian education that is held for 1 week during summer vacation. All children and youth are invited to attend---friends and neighbors as well as members of our church. Classes are available for children 3 years old to 6th grade. Three year olds have their own program in a classroom in the education building and in our playground area. Fours through sixth graders rotate through stations in our main church building.  Our youth who are in 7th grade and older, volunteer to help in the classrooms with crafts and other planned activities — such as “Water Day!”

The curriculum is from our partners in ministry, On Eagle's Wings, in the Northwest Territories.  Our Minister of Christian Education, Jan Davis, adapts the materials for our VBS.  Stations include Bible story, classroom time for activities related to the daily story, music, crafts and snack.  We also have a service station where children learn about other ministries or service groups in Hanover and around the world and make gifts to share with them.

Each day, the 4's through 6th graders gather in the church at 9:00 a.m. for opening music and prayer.  After a fun and exciting day of learning, they dismiss from their last station of the day.  Our three's stay in their classroom for the entire morning.

Preregistration is extremely helpful for our planning, but we also take registrations on the 1st day of VBS.
