Our Music Ministry

is gearing up for a great year.

You will want to be a part of it!

 

 

Children’s Choirs

All children age 3 to grade 6 – Choir registration forms are due now in the church office.

 

Choirs begin rehearsals on:

 

      Pre-School Music Makers – Thursday, September 25

                  Cherub Choir – Tuesday, September 23

                  Primary Choir – Tuesday, September 16

                  Junior Choir – Wednesday, September 17

        

 

 Youth Choir (grades 7-12) – please send your registration forms in by September 12. Rehearsals begin on Sunday, September 21, followed by pizza and mini-golf.

 

 

The Adult Choirs are in Need of Additional Members –

See Scott or Karen today if you feel called to offer your talents in this ministry.  The adult choirs are an important element of our worship and evangelism.  Did you know over half of our church’s new members tell us they were attracted to St. Matthew because of the music?  You make a real difference here. Please take this to prayer.

 

 

The Chancel Choir will begin rehearsals on Wednesday September 10,

and the Sanctuary Choir will begin on Thursday, September 11.

The Handbell Choirs begin rehearsals on

Thursday, September 4, at 7 p.m.

 

 

 

Our Week -Long Youth Puppet Camp will take place beginning August 6.  The youth puppet team is very committed and our new adult puppet team has had a ball as they found the puppets to be a meaningful and fun tool for evangelism. Additional adults are welcome to give it a try.  Please consider joining this important ministry of our church.  The Mini Ministers Youth Team rehearses on Saturdays in Fellowship Hall from 10:00-11:15 a.m. followed by the Prime Time Adult Team from 11:15 a.m. - 12 p.m.  If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please contact Deb Smith, 633-9787.
